Shipping Policy
HSGI uses either US Postal Priority Mail or UPS Ground for most shipments. Shipments to APO/FPO addresses are ONLY available via USPS Priority Mail. No UPS or other 'expedited' shipping methods can be used for APO/FPO addresses. Shipping is charged for all domestic and international orders. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Expedited shipping is available at extra cost (except APO/FPO addresses). Obviously, expedited shipping is available only on items we actually have in stock. Next Day, Two-Day and Three-Day shipping times start from the date the items SHIP, not the date of your order, and do not include weekends or the day it ships out. Thus, an item shipped via Second Day on a Thursday will arrive on Monday, since the "clock" starts on Friday, skips Saturday and Sunday, with Monday being the Second Day. Orders being shipped via USPS that are received prior to 2:00 EST, usually are processed and shipped that day. Orders being shipped via UPS that are received prior to 3:00 EST also will be shipped out that day as well. All orders received after these stated times will be shipped out the next business day. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, customs, duties, taxes, etc., in their country, and are responsible for ensuring that the product(s) they order are legal in their country. We are not responsible for any items confiscated by your government, customs or other agencies.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: International Online Orders, by default UPS Expedited is automatically chosen. Please change this option to USPS or another UPS option if not desired. HSGI is Not responsible for other Duties or Taxes implied by the receiver's country ot origin. HSGI reserves the right to make changes in shipping method if we feel that it will better benefit the customer. HSGI generally will notify by e-mail to ask the customer if the true intent of shipping UPS Expedited is what the customer actually wishes as this selection is often overlooked. Upon receiving notice back from customer, we shall ship in the manner instructed too. If customer fails to notify HSGI within three (3) business days of it's intent, then we will ship out in the manner stated on the order or "Cancelled" at the discretion of HSGI. If a questionable situation occurs, HSGI will make contact by phone or most likely by a-mail over other possible issues. HSGI will hold order for 2 weeks, making several more attempts to contact customer. If customer can not be contacted, HSGI also reserves the right to "Cancel" the order without any further prior notice.
International Shipping is via US Postal Global Express Mail (GEMS). UPS is available, but is usually twice the cost of GEMS. While we do everything we can to ensure prompt delivery, we will not be held responsible for foreign postal or delivery services outside of our control. If you have any questions about this, please contact us before placing your order. Shipping rates shown via the online ordering system have occasionally been incorrect, especially when expedited shipping is chosen or shopping cart does not show insurance rates for USPS. A link to an Insurance rate page is provided and this respective rates will be applied to the final cost.

HSGI does not accept PayPal for any orders.
ITEM AVAILABILITY We strive to have most items in stock. However, there will be occasions when we are out of an ordered item. We will do our best to advise you of these situations and you will have the option of backordering or canceling your order. In most situations like this, HSGI will promptly construct that item and get it shipped as fast as it possibly can. With the exception of special orders, we do not charge credit cards until we have the item(s) ready to ship.
